Great spot for bibimbap! The homemade kimchi is the bomb. Next time I will probably throw down for extra spicy pork just to make it a bit more filling, but still totally worth it as-is. It is a mom and pop shop, though, so if you're in a hurry it's best to call in your order ahead of time.

I love this place - food is delicious and fresh with the best ingredients and the owners are so nice. Burger, bibimbop, or breakfast burritos - you can’t go wrong! Their homemade sauces are bomb 💣🔥⚡️ pro tip, get the sweet potato patty on the bibimbop.

I recently tried Kong’s Burger and really liked it. While many burger places are delicious, they often taste quite similar. Kong’s Burger stood out with a more distinct flavor, and the slightly crispy bun (maybe intentional, maybe a bit overcooked) added a nice texture that made the burger more memorable.

The Kong burger is excellent and I enjoyed mine at an outdoor table in the shade, but next time I will get the bibimbop. There was a table of people on their lunch break near me enjoying the healthy, filling, delicious bibimbop meal and raving about it to each other. Quality ingredients, organic and fresh.

After a brief hyping up of the food they serve and their prices, I had very high expectations for my beef king kong burger, and my friends potato veggie burger. But they delivered with delicious homemade, and fresh burgers. Juicy patties with fresh veggies and delicious cheese. The fries were nothing special, but could be worse. As far as pricing goes, it is priced reasonably well but once you order fries it’s pretty average for California. No bathroom.

I saw a food creator claiming to have found the best burger in Watsonville. Honestly, I was skeptical because many influencers get paid to hype things up. However, after seeing a tempting menu online, I decided to check them out anyway. Less than an hour before closing, I called to place my order and headed out for pickup. When I arrived, I realized the cafe was right next to my childhood favorite taqueria. The place was quiet and casual, and it radiated a warmth that instantly took me back to my childhood days of waiting eagerly for food. The owners were incredibly kind and attentive. They even gave me a small box for my carryout, which reminded me of my old favorite spot and how my dad used to carry a whole charola full of tacos. The aroma was absolutely mesmerizing, and I can confidently say that all the rumors are true. Their burgers (especially the King Kong Burger) are truly one of a kind! The bun is soft and pliable, the meat is tender, and the vegetables are very fresh. The cheese melts all the flavors together perfectly. In fact, I’ve never had a burger that pulls off thinly sliced meat better than this. While I had never tried bibimbap before, it will be tough to top the version I had here. Even my dad, who rarely tries international cuisines, was tempted by just the smell. The spicy sauce complemented the other ingredients wonderfully! The yam fries were also outstanding: crispy, sweet, and absolutely delicious. As a big fan of sweet potatoes, I can honestly say they were the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely be returning soon! 😋

Mr. And Mrs.Kong are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I discovered them when I was in middle school and I’m about to graduate. Every time I go they are pleasant and they have such amazing big energy. Sad to hear they are closing their Watsonville location, but I truly recommend this place! They have THE BEST BURRITO ever, the breakfast burrito made with tofu and kimchi. O.M.G. I cannot explain the flavors or the sauce, this is phenomenal truly. I thank them for blessing my tastebuds every.single.time. I love them both. :)

Amazing food! I ordered a burger and fries and paid 14.25. The burger, veggies and fries were very fresh and hot when I received. I asked for grilled onions and they made them for me! The flavor was great , I definitely recommend and will be returning to eat again!

Our first time here, Mr. Ahn gave us a hard time and proceeded to be the utmost gentleman, emphasizing the lack of chemicals and MSG used in his delicious food!! Can't wait to come back, the plaza it's hidden is why we missed it for the last six years. There's always next time for the breakfast rolls and the actual Korean dish, I had the salmon burger and it was so killer that I told him with my mouth full - when he came outside to check on us and how the food was!! The King Kong Burger got a five star rating too!! We got caramel and mocha coffee too, they also matched in deliciousness. Like I said, can't wait to come back for breakfast rolls!! Thanks Mr. Ahn!!! EDIT: Our breakfast roll experience was CHEF'S KISS - I never really inhaled my breakfast before this. It was so difficult to not bite my fingers while enjoying the wraps, we have been missing out on this place so much. I'm so glad we can catch up!!
